I work making films and books about lonely quadrupeds, Ecuadorian music, fires and people I love, among other things.
I was born in Ecuador and currently live in Spain. Like all migrants, I'm reminded daily of my being a foreigner. Hence, all my work is shaped in some way by the questions and impulses I feel while explaining both to myself and to the rest of the world what it means to be part of this insane power dynamic known as colonization.
I also work on writing about other people's films and programming them at the EDOC Film Festival. Currently, I am also employed at the San Sebastian Film Festival and serve as a tutor at Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola.
